Prabhas and Anushka Shetty are one among the most popular pairs in Indian cinema. Due to their on-screen chemistry and off-screen camaraderie, the duo has been constantly linked up ever since they shared screen space for the first time in Billa (2009). Though the rumours of dating and an alleged relationship never refuse to die, both the actors have denied the news multiple times. The Saaho actor went a step ahead and made it clear that his private life is not made for public consumption.

As part of promotions for her upcoming film Nishabdham, Anushka has recently attended a TV reality show and got candid on many things with popular anchor Suma Kanakala. During one of the segment, she was asked to prioritise between friendship with Prabhas and acting in films. Without thinking twice, the 38-year-old actress said “I can’t leave my friendship for my work. So, definitely, will stop acting in films.”

During a recent interaction with a leading lady, the Arundhati actress opened up on her relationship status with Prabhas. Terming her Baahubali co-star as her 3AM friend, she said “I have known Prabhas for over 15 years now and he is one of my 3 AM friends. We are usually linked up because both of us are not married and make an amazing on screen pair. Had there been anything between both of us, it would have been out by this time. Both of us are the same kind of people who don’t hide any emotions if we are involved.”

On the work front, Anushka Shetty’s forthcoming film Nishabdham is gearing up for a worldwide release in April. Touted to be a suspense-thriller, the crossover film features an ensemble star cast like Michael Madsen, Anjali, Shalini Pandey, Subbaraju and Srinivasa Avasarala in pivotal roles. While the plot of Nishabdham revolves around a murder mystery and a haunted house, the video promos are loaded with full of thrills and spills.
