Sara Ali Khan criticised for risking her life given the current scenario of Coronavirus outbreak

Not a long time ago, Sara faced flak for sharing a throwback picture with her brother on his birthday. She was in a bikini in that picture and that was made out to be an issue. The actress drew attention once again recently.

As advised by health care professionals, people across the world are self quarantined at home as a precautionary measure against coronavirus outbreak. Film shoots have been stalled as close to 200 people work on a set and this could be dangerous, given Covid-19 causing community transmission. After Shahid Kapoor, who faced flak for hitting a gym in the city despite the state government’s directive to shut all gyms in Mumbai, Sara Ali Khan came under the scanner as well.

The actress with her mother Amrita Singh visited Banaras recently. Sara was seen soaking in the sights and sounds of India’s devotional capital and being immersed in the aarti at the kashi Vishwanath mandir. The visit set tongues wagging.

The actress was criticised for risking her life given the current scenario. “It’s quite irresponsible on her part. People have been asked to avoid crowded places and she was swamped with people there. Several temples in Mumbai are now closed for darshan as crowds need to be dispersed for their own good. Even churches for that reason. She moved around in the crowded bylanes of Banaras and then you wear a mask at the airport. What’s the point?”, wondered an industry insider.
