I Recommend: “’Man’s Search for Meaning’ is very relevant in the time we’re going through right now,” says ‘Brahmastra’ actor Gurfateh Pirzada | Hindi Movie News

Amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and 21-day lockdown, Bollywood actors are making the most of it during their self-quarantine period. From binge-watching, cooking, to indulging in workouts, they are keeping themselves busy with their routine. Actor Gurfateh Pirzada, who is all set to make his debut with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Brahmastra’, recommends a few books to read during quarantine in an exclusive ‘I Recommend with ETimes’ video.

Recommending his favourite books, Gurfateh said, “I think one of the best books I’ve read so far is ‘Man’s Search for Meaning’ by Viktor Frankl. So please read that if you got the time, it’s very relevant in the time we’re going through right now. It’s about how human beings think this is their maximum threshold. But eventually you can endure so much more than what you imagined. So I think read that. And also, there’s a very classical, really nice play ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’ by Tennessee Williams, you can read that as well, one of my favorites.”

He also advised fans to stay safe and stay indoors. “There is so much more… watch movies and just stay safe, stay indoors. It’s important for yourselves, for the family and also the world.”
