In an exclusive interaction with ETimes, Himesh spoke about the major change in life due to Coronavirus, how the lockdown has affected his personal and work life, how he is planning to make the most of this free time and more.
Excerpts from the interview:
-How has life changed post the Coronavirus Pandemic?
Life has completely changed because I have hardly taken a break in life since I started working at the age of 13. So, this compulsory break is giving me lots of mixed feelings and emotions.
-What sort of precautions are you taking?
I’m not going out of the house unless it’s extremely urgent, working from home and taking all the instructed precautions which need to be taken.
-How has it affected your work? Have any shoots been cancelled?
The live shows where I was supposed to be performing have been pushed. The shooting of my next film is after 4 months so pre-production is in progress. I workout at home regularly. My new music TV show for which I have to shoot soon is also scheduled after a month and a half. I am working on my scripts and all my songs also from home.
-How do you keep yourself busy since everything is in lockdown… anything that you are doing in this free time?
This lockdown has got me thinking about so many issues. Besides working from home, I’m also watching a lot of movies and spending a lot of quality time with family.
-How are you taking care of your family and loved ones at this time?
Meeting family and friends and spending quality time with them, I am utilizing this time fully.
-What message would you like to give to everyone during this time?
It’s time to pray and also realise that the most important thing in life is to be very positive and spread happiness and love.
