Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are doing their best to spread awareness and important information about Coronavirus. The novel virus has brought the whole world to stand still. And now, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced total lockdown in the country for the next 21 days. Recently, Anushka took to her Instagram handle to share a video to give an important message for their fans.

In this video, the couple asked the citizens to cooperate with the government to fight against COVID-19. They urged everyone to stay indoors and maintain social distancing as a precautionary measure. Virat too shared the video and wrote, ”These are testing times and we need to wake up to the seriousness of this situation. Please let us all follow what’s been told to us and stand united please. It’s a plea to everyone”.

A while ago, Anushka to applaud the decision made by PM. She tweeted, ”Anushka Sharma shared, “It is extremely important for ALL of us to follow the 21 day lockdown laid down by our PM Shri @narendramodi ji. Please stay at home to help contain the spread of the virus and follow the safety protocols ??”.
