WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who took to social media to nominate several celebrities across the world to take up the ‘Safe Hands’ challenge. Teaching all the correct method to wash their hands, Ghebreyesus tagged several celebrities like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, popular K-Pop band BTS and others.

He wrote, “I now nominate: @deepikapadukone @priyankachopra @Schwarzenegger @CTurlington to take the #SafeHands challenge by sharing their video & calling on at least another 3 people to join us! Together, we can beat #COVID19!”

Meanwhile, joining the bandwagon, Hollywood stalwart Arnold Schwarzenegger took to social media to share a video where he is giving a hand-washing tutorial. He wrote, “Wash your hands I tried to do a hand-washing tutorial for Cherry but I think you guys will pay more attention. Be safe. Wash your hands. Listen to scientists and experts, not foreheads. Together, we can slow this down and protect each other. #COVID19”

He recently took to Instagram once again to share another clip where he is seen enjoying his time at home with his donkeys. He captioned this clip as “Stay at home ‪Stay at home as much as possible. Listen to the experts, ignore the morons (foreheads). We will get through this together.‬”

Meanwhile, Priyanka, who recently visited India has been creating awareness about Covid-19 by suggesting people to opt for ‘namaste’ as a greeting rather than shaking hands.
